Britsh 1-2-3 on starting grid for first time at Silverstone Circuit

Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Lando Norris secured the first British 1-2-3 starting grid at the Silverstone Circuit during qualifying at the FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2024.
For the first time ever at the Silverstone Circuit, the front three positions on the starting grid were filled by British drivers. In an exciting qualifying session, it was George Russel who pipped teammate Lewis Hamilton to pole position thanks to an incredible final lap - securing pole by 0.171 seconds. Lando Norris completed the trio of British drivers by qualifying in P3.

Zum ersten Mal überhaupt waren auf dem Silverstone Circuit die ersten drei Startplätze mit britischen Fahrern besetzt. In einem spannenden Qualifying war es George Russel, der dank einer unglaublichen letzten Runde Teamkollege Lewis Hamilton die Pole Position wegschnappte – und sich die Pole mit 0,171 Sekunden Vorsprung sicherte. Lando Norris komplettierte das Trio britischer Fahrer, indem er sich auf P3 qualifizierte.
