Charles Leclerc claimed a home win for Scuderia Ferrari HP at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA 2024.
The Monégasque driver produced a stunning victory having started the race in P4. This win was all about strategy with Scuderia Ferrari HP sticking to a bold one-stop stratey that undercut the McLaren F1® Team of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. It was a risk that paid off with Leclerc holding off Norris and Piastri to grab the win at Scuderia Ferrari HP's home Grand Prix™. It is Leclerc's second win of the season and puts him just 86 points off Max Verstappen in the Driver Standings and within touching distance of Lando Norris in second place.
